Who am I?
Hi, I am Tara... I am no one special, just someone that wanted a different lifestyle than what I had. I was in law enforcement for 18 years when I decided to step away from a secured income to entrepreneurship. I'm not gonna lie and say it wasn't scary. In fact, there were plenty of times we wondered how we were gonna make it financially! But God!
I was full time in the Network Marketing industry and was doing fairly well. My business started to slow down and eventually almost go away completely. I decided I needed to find a way to start a business to make more money.
I started following people like Grant Cardone, Brian Page, Dean Graziosi, Tony Robbins and more. They all lit a fire in me that I thought had died with my Network Marketing business.
I found someone that could teach me how to build a short term rental business. It sure seemed like something I could do and knowing I could get paid on a daily basis made it even more appealing. Between a couple different coaches, I paid $9,000 to learn how to build a short term rental business.
So, I started my property management company, Platinum Lodging. I got excited and got straight to work. There was just one little problem..... I spent all this money and I still had to figure out a ton of stuff on my own. I got my first house in just a couple weeks and I got to work.
I learned the HARD WAY about a lot of stuff in the beginning...these mistakes caused me to make some bad arrangements with deals, I had to do a ton of repair on my first house that was out of my pocket and more.
I got my first house ready and within a few months I got a second one. About 8 months later I got 2 more and finished my first year with over $200,000 in reservations. I had my first reservation within 2 hours of my listing going live. I thought WOW, I can do this thing! I learned a lot over the first couple of years.... what to do, what not to do, who not work with, how to handle bad guests, how to find deals and learned when to say NO!
Fast forward a couple years and I started an online marketing agency. I am the co-founder of TCN Pro. We have become experts at building funnels, websites, automation and so much more! Basically, we help businesses grow online. At TCN Pro, we built a site for BNB hosts so they can book directly on their own platform giving them full control of their business.
